Customer portion of the website includes the following elements:
Products presentation pages, product lists for browsing, quick and advanced search, product filters by brand, price, parameters and keywords, product comparison, bundle configurator, related items, warranties, cross sell products, new and suggested products merchandising.
Prducts catalog includes a database of descriptions, photos, parameters, variants, suppliers and pricing. Product catalogs are often linked to external content sources to automate catalog delivery based on product codes. Custom products can also be uploaded using CSV and XML files or edited using online product editor.
Shopping Cart and Checkuot. Includes software to manage purchasing online with credit cards, Pos, wire transfers, Paypal, Google Checkout, BillMeLater, Leasing options and others. Customers can also use gift certificates, reward poins for purchasing. Includes order tracking, invoices, order history and account management for the customers. Customers can also save carts and use Wish List for later purchasing.
I-Shark Elite includes in it’s standard configuration a unique software for managing multiple suppliers offer and calculate the pricing. Each supplier information is stored in separate database and can ve updated in real time. Based on the supplier price and availability the system can choose the best supplier (in case multiple suppliers carry the same product).
Supplier pricinf is loaded from CSV or XML files. The import of pricing files can be automated or manual by importing files in the admin page. Prices from suppliers can be adjusted for Markups (extra cost like delivery) or discounts (premanent or temporary). After calculating the supplier information the system selects an active supplier for each product abd calculates the base price (actual cost of the product).
Price calculator can then automatically calulate the sale prices based on custm pricing rules. Price rules can include margins for products groups, categories, brands or price range. In B2B application multiple price rules can be used and assigned to different customers. Miltiple price rules can also be used for multi-store front management.
By default the price and availability calculator runs every 15 minutes. It also allows real time updates if supplier has that capability. Price changes can be updated automatically, once a day or wait for the administrator approval.
The Supplier Manager allows building a very large and automated products database with accurate and up to date price and availability information.
